Abdec Forte Syrup is used for prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiencies; nutritional supplement in growth phases, poor diet, convalescence, loss of appetite and general weakness.

This is a multivitamin supplement that replenishes essential vitamins required for normal metabolism and body functions. It helps support energy production, immunity, growth and tissue repair by correcting dietary deficiencies.
Oral syrup. Shake well before use. Take the dose as advised by the physician/label; can be taken with or after food to reduce stomach upset. Use a measuring cup/spoon and do not exceed the recommended dose.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Abdec Forte as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Abdec Forte than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Abdec Forte are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient. Avoid overdosing, especially with fat‑soluble vitamins (A, D, E) as excess can be harmful. Use with caution in liver disease, kidney disease, hypervitaminosis, or if taking other vitamin supplements. Diabetics should check sugar content in syrup formulations. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Retinoids (isotretinoin/acitretin) with vitamin A, tetracyclines with vitamin A (risk of intracranial hypertension), warfarin/anticoagulants (vitamin E/K containing products may affect INR), antiepileptics (phenytoin/phenobarbital) may lower vitamin D/folate, levothyroxine (separate dosing if minerals present), cholestyramine/orlistat may reduce absorption of fat-soluble vitamins
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
