Glucometer device (Accu-Chek Active blood glucose monitoring system); uses Accu-Chek Active test strips and compatible lancets (sold separately)
Self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) in people with diabetes; helps track fasting, post-meal and random blood sugar levels as advised by a doctor
The meter measures glucose in a small drop of capillary blood applied to a test strip. The strip’s chemistry generates an electrical/optical signal proportional to glucose concentration, which the device converts into a displayed blood glucose value.
Insert a compatible Accu-Chek Active test strip into the meter. Use a lancing device to obtain a finger-prick blood drop and apply it to the strip as per the user manual; wait for the reading. Record results and follow your clinician’s testing schedule. Use clean, dry hands; do not share lancets; dispose of sharps safely.

For in-vitro diagnostic self-testing only; not for diagnosis without medical advice. Incorrect technique, expired/damaged strips, dirty hands, extreme temperatures, altitude/humidity, and improper storage of strips can cause inaccurate readings. Keep meter and accessories away from children (choking hazard). Use a new sterile lancet each time; do not share lancing devices to reduce infection risk. Follow the device IFU for quality checks and calibration requirements (if any).
