Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Ace Proxyvon CR Tablet contains Aceclofenac 100 mg + Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 325 mg + Dextropropoxyphene napsylate 65 mg (as CR tablet). It belongs to the NSAID + Analgesic/Antipyretic + Opioid analgesic class of medicines.
Aceclofenac is an NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis (mainly via COX inhibition). Paracetamol provides central analgesic and antipyretic action. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic that acts on central opioid receptors to reduce pain perception; CR formulation provides prolonged pain relief.
Tablet (controlled-release): take exactly as prescribed. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew. Preferably take after food to reduce stomach upset. Avoid taking other paracetamol-containing products concurrently.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Ace Proxyvon CR as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Ace Proxyvon CR than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Ace Proxyvon CR are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
