How it works

Aldostix 20 mg/50 mg Tablet contains two medicines: furosemide and spironolactone, which act on different parts of the kidney to remove excess fluid. Furosemide is a short-acting loop diuretic that helps the kidneys eliminate sodium, chloride, and water through urine, thereby reducing fluid overload and blood pressure. Spironolactone is a long-acting aldosterone antagonist that promotes the excretion of sodium and water while conserving potassium, helping maintain electrolyte balance and preventing potassium loss during treatment.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aldostix 20 mg/50 mg Tablet should be taken with or after food. Avoid Aldostix 20 mg/50 mg Tablet with dietary sodium.
