Avoid taking antacids within 2 hours of taking this medicine. They can make it harder for your body to absorb it. Never give this medicine to someone who appears to have a similar illness. It should be taken only if prescribed by a doctor. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication, as it may increase the risk of sleepiness. Although this medicine is less likely to reach the brain and generally causes minimal sedation, alcohol may enhance its effects. Stop taking Allegra 120mg Tablet at least 3 days before undergoing an allergy test. This medicine can affect the test results. If you have seasonal allergies, keep windows closed during high-pollen or high-wind periods. Take more care, especially in the early morning when pollen counts are typically highest. Stop taking the medication and contact your doctor immediately if you notice a rapid heartbeat, an irregular pulse, or palpitations.
