Warnings and precautions

Use with caution in elderly, liver disease, respiratory disease (COPD/sleep apnea), depression or suicidal thoughts, and history of substance misuse. Concomitant use with opioids or other CNS depressants can cause profound sedation, respiratory depression, coma or death. Not recommended for long-term continuous use unless advised by specialist.

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with severe breathing problems, sleep apnoea, or severe liver disease. Not for anyone with a history of dependence, except under specialist supervision.

Alcohol, opioids (e.g., morphine, codeine, tramadol), other sedatives (sleeping pills, antihistamines like chlorpheniramine, antipsychotics), antidepressants, strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin, erythromycin, ritonavir), grapefruit/grapefruit juice, valproate, diltiazem/verapamil

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), in a dry place away from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
