Uses of Amilift SR

Amilift 10 mg Tablet is used for neuropathic pain, preventive treatment of migraine and depression. It is used in patients intolerant of or unresponsive to alternative treatment options for depression.

How it works

Amilift 10 mg Tablet is a tricyclic antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood and treat depression. It also stops the movement of pain signals from nerves to the brain thereby relieving neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amilift 10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
