Moxifloxacin (0.5%w/v)
Treatment of eye pain and inflammation after cataract surgery; relief of postoperative ocular inflammation
Nepafenac is a prodrug that penetrates the eye and is converted to amfenac, an NSAID. It inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin production and thereby decreasing pain and inflammation.
For ophthalmic use only. Shake well before use. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s) as advised by the doctor, usually 1 drop 3 times daily starting 1 day before cataract surgery, on the day of surgery, and for up to 2 weeks after (or as directed). Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Do not touch the dropper tip; keep a gap of 5–10 minutes between different eye drops.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Apdrops Eye Drops. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Use with caution in patients with bleeding tendency or on anticoagulants (NSAIDs may increase bleeding time). Prolonged use may delay corneal healing and rarely cause corneal adverse events; seek urgent care for worsening pain, vision changes, or increased redness. Avoid use if allergic to nepafenac/other NSAIDs. Not recommended in active ocular infections unless advised by an ophthalmologist. Use caution in dry eye, corneal epithelial defects, or complicated ocular surgeries.
