Carboxymethylcellulose sodium 1% w/v (lubricant)
Dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), relief of eye irritation, burning and foreign body sensation due to dryness, protection from environmental irritation (wind, dust, screen use)
Carboxymethylcellulose is a lubricating artificial tear that binds water and increases tear film stability. It forms a protective, viscoelastic layer over the ocular surface to reduce friction and relieve dryness-related discomfort.
For ophthalmic use only. Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 3–4 times daily or as directed by doctor; may be used more frequently if needed. Remove contact lenses before use and reinsert after 15 minutes; avoid touching the dropper tip; keep bottle tightly closed.
Common side effects of AQUALUBE LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS may include:
Do not use if solution changes colour or becomes cloudy or if seal is broken. Stop use and consult a doctor if eye pain, persistent redness/irritation, vision changes, or symptoms worsen or persist beyond 72 hours. If using other eye medicines, keep a 10–15 minute gap (use this after medicated drops unless advised). Use caution while driving immediately after instillation due to transient blurring. Not for injection; avoid contaminating dropper tip.
