Uses of Aten D Tab

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); helps reduce risk of stroke, heart attack and kidney problems related to uncontrolled BP

How it works

Atenolol is a beta-1 selective beta-blocker that slows heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that increases salt and water excretion, reducing fluid volume and vascular resistance.

Directions for use

Take by mouth as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
