In Bacterial infection

Augpen kills the bacteria causing the infection by breaking down their cell walls. You usually start to feel better within a few days, and finishing the course makes sure the infection does not return.

In Throat infection

Augpen clears the bacteria behind a sore throat or tonsillitis, so the pain, fever and difficulty swallowing settle.

In Chest infection

Augpen treats bacterial infections of the airways and lungs, relieving the cough, fever and breathlessness as the infection clears.

In Skin infection

Augpen clears bacterial infections of the skin and soft tissue, bringing down the redness, swelling and pain.

In Urinary infection

Augpen kills the bacteria causing burning, frequency and lower abdominal pain, with relief usually starting within a day or two of the first dose.

LiverCAUTION

Use with caution if you have liver disease. Your doctor may adjust the dose or monitor your liver function.

• Your child must complete the entire course.
• Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection.
• Your child may have a bitter taste in the mouth after the intake of Augpen 80mg/11.4mg Drop.
• Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help.
• Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect.
• Never give Augpen 80mg/11.4mg Drop until and unless prescribed by the doctor.
• You must also never share your child’s medicine with anyone else, even if they show similar symptoms.
• Never save medicine for future illnesses.
