Neuropathic pain Epilepsy/Seizures
Baga 100 Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. When given for epilepsy, it is believed to work by reducing the abnormal electrical activity in the brain, thus preventing seizures. It is also used to treat nerve pain where it blocks pain by interfering with pain signals traveling through the damaged nerves and the brain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Baga 100 Tablet should be taken with or after food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Baga 100 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\n
Taking more Baga than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Baga are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Baga. Some combinations can change how Baga works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Baga below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Take it at the same time every day, preferably at bedtime, to avoid any dizziness or drowsiness during the day. Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Baga 100 Tablet as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine. It may cause sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior. Do not stop taking Baga 100 Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase the frequency of seizure.
