Bilafav M ODT 20/10 Tablet is a combination of two medicines : Bilastine and Montelukast. Bilastine is an anti-allergic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body. Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.
How to take Bilafav M ODT 20/10 Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bilafav M ODT 20/10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Older antihistamines cause marked drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this affects you. This relieves the symptoms of an allergy; it does not treat the cause, and it is not a treatment for an acute asthma attack.
