Cefpodoxime proxetil + Clavulanic acid (strengths unknown)
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, tonsillitis/pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia), ear infections (otitis media), urinary tract infections, and skin/soft tissue infections.
Cefpodoxime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects cefpodoxime from breakdown by beta-lactamase–producing bacteria, helping extend its antibacterial coverage.
Take orally as prescribed by the doctor. Usually taken with food to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset. Swallow tablet with water and complete the full course; do not skip doses or stop early.

Not for viral infections (cold/flu).
