Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Combimist Ld Respules contains Levosalbutamol (0.63mg) + Ipratropium (500mcg).
Treatment of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Combimist LD (2.5ml Each) Respules is a combination of two medicines: Levosalbutamol and Ipratropium. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator while Ipratropium is an anticholinergic. They work by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widening them. Together, they make breathing easier.
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Twist off the top of the respule/transpule and squeeze all the liquid into the nebulizer. It should be used right away after opening.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Combimist LD (2.5ml Each) Respules, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Combimist Ld than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Combimist Ld are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Combimist Ld. Some combinations can change how Combimist Ld works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Combimist Ld below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Use Combimist LD (2.5ml Each) Respules only for inhalation through a nebulizer as directed by your doctor; it should not be swallowed. Use Combimist LD (2.5ml Each) Respules at the same time each day to help maintain consistent control of breathing symptoms. Combimist LD (2.5ml Each) Respules is not meant for sudden breathing attacks. Use your rescue inhaler for quick relief. Use the correct nebulizer technique and sit upright while inhaling the medicine slowly and deeply. Clean and dry the nebulizer parts after each use to prevent infection and ensure proper drug delivery. Rinse your mouth or gargle with water after inhalation, especially if you experience dryness or bad taste. Dry mouth may occur while using Combimist LD (2.5ml Each) Respules; drinking water, maintaining oral hygiene, or using sugar-free candy may help. Avoid spraying the medicine into the eyes, as it may worsen symptoms in people with glaucoma. Seek medical help immediately if breathing worsens or chest tightness occurs after inhalation. Mild tremor or palpitations may occur; consult your doctor if these symptoms become severe or persistent. Your doctor may monitor blood potassium levels during treatment, especially in patients with low oxygen levels. Consult your doctor urgently if you experience severe breathlessness, bluish lips, or inability to speak full sentences. Keep regular follow-up appointments so your doctor can review your inhalation technique and treatment plan.
