Bacillus clausii spores 2 billion CFU (2×10^9) per 5 mL (oral suspension)
Probiotic used to restore intestinal flora; helps in acute diarrhea, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and digestive disturbances due to gut dysbiosis.
Bacillus clausii is a spore-forming probiotic that survives stomach acid and germinates in the intestine. It helps rebalance normal gut microbiota, inhibits growth of harmful organisms, and supports intestinal barrier and immune function to reduce diarrhea duration and frequency.
Oral suspension: shake well before use. Take as advised by the doctor; commonly taken 1–2 times daily. Can be taken with or without food; avoid mixing with hot drinks. If on antibiotics, keep a 2–3 hour gap between antibiotic and probiotic doses.
Common side effects of CONGUT CLAUSII may include:
Use with caution in severely immunocompromised patients, critically ill patients, or those with central venous catheters due to rare risk of bloodstream infection with probiotics. Do not use if allergic to any component. Seek medical advice if diarrhea lasts >48 hours, there is blood in stools, high fever, severe dehydration, or in infants/elderly.
