How Congut Clausii works

Bacillus clausii is a spore-forming probiotic that survives stomach acid and germinates in the intestine. It helps rebalance normal gut microbiota, inhibits growth of harmful organisms, and supports intestinal barrier and immune function to reduce diarrhea duration and frequency.

How to take Congut Clausii

Oral suspension: shake well before use. Take as advised by the doctor; commonly taken 1–2 times daily. Can be taken with or without food; avoid mixing with hot drinks. If on antibiotics, keep a 2–3 hour gap between antibiotic and probiotic doses.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Congut Clausii as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Congut Clausii than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Interactions with other medicines

Antibiotics (may reduce probiotic effect if taken together—separate by 2–3 hours), immunosuppressants (use with caution), antifungals/antimicrobials (may reduce viability depending on agent)
