Dorzolamide (2% w/v) + Timolol (0.5% w/v)
Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension; may be used alone or as adjunct to other anti-glaucoma medicines as prescribed.
Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It reduces aqueous humour production in the ciliary processes of the eye, thereby lowering intraocular pressure.
For ophthalmic use only. Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) as prescribed (commonly 1 drop 3 times daily when used alone, or 1 drop twice daily when used with a beta-blocker). Wash hands, avoid touching dropper tip, and keep eyes closed for 1–2 minutes after instillation; if using other eye drops, keep a 5–10 minute gap.

Use only in the eye. Avoid contamination of the dropper/ampoule. Use with caution in patients with severe kidney impairment; systemic absorption of sulfonamide-related reactions is possible (rare). Discontinue and seek medical help if rash, severe eye pain, swelling, or worsening redness occurs. May cause temporary blurred vision—avoid driving until vision clears. If you wear contact lenses, follow doctor advice; preservative-free formulations are generally lens-friendly, but avoid instilling while lenses are in unless advised.
