How Drez Powder 10 g works
Drez S Dusting Powder is a combination of three medicines: Povidone Iodine, Tinidazole and Sucralfate. Povidone Iodine is an antiseptic. It slowly releases iodine which kills or prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms. Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Sucralfate is protectant which covers the damaged tissue and protects it against injury to facilitate healing.
Missed dose and overdose
If you miss a dose
Take the missed dose of Drez as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
If you take too much
Taking more Drez than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
