Enoxaparin sodium 60 mg/0.6 mL solution for injection (Prefilled syringe)

Uses of Enoxcp-60MG Pfs Inj

Prevention and treatment of blood clots (venous thromboembolism), including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE); prevention of clotting after surgery or during prolonged immobilization; acute coronary syndromes (unstable angina, NSTEMI/STEMI) as prescribed.

How it works

Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin that enhances antithrombin activity and mainly inhibits factor Xa, reducing formation of fibrin clots. This helps prevent existing clots from growing and reduces formation of new clots.

Directions for use

For subcutaneous injection using the prefilled syringe, or IV use only when specifically directed (e.g., certain heart-attack protocols). Dose and duration depend on indication, body weight and kidney function; administer at the same time each day. Do not inject intramuscularly; rotate injection sites and do not rub the site after injection.
