Enoxcp-60 mg Pfs Injection contains Enoxaparin sodium 60 mg/0.6 mL solution for injection (Prefilled syringe). It belongs to the Low molecular weight heparin (LMWH); Factor Xa inhibitor (indirect) class of medicines.

How Enoxcp-60 mg Pfs Injection works

Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin that enhances antithrombin activity and mainly inhibits factor Xa, reducing formation of fibrin clots. This helps prevent existing clots from growing and reduces formation of new clots.

How to take Enoxcp-60 mg Pfs Injection

For subcutaneous injection using the prefilled syringe, or IV use only when specifically directed (e.g., certain heart-attack protocols). Dose and duration depend on indication, body weight and kidney function; administer at the same time each day. Do not inject intramuscularly; rotate injection sites and do not rub the site after injection.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

Most side effects of Enoxcp-60 mg Pfs are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• low platelet count (thrombocytopenia)
• anemia
• nausea
• increased liver enzymes

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Risk of serious bleeding; seek urgent care for unusual bleeding, black stools, blood in urine, severe headache or weakness. Use with caution in kidney impairment, low platelet count or history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), uncontrolled hypertension, recent surgery, peptic ulcer, or bleeding disorders. Spinal/epidural anesthesia or lumbar puncture can rarely cause spinal hematoma and paralysis—tell your doctor if you have back pain, numbness/weakness or bladder/bowel problems. Regular monitoring may be needed (CBC/platelets, kidney function; anti-Xa in select patients).

Do not take Enoxcp-60 mg Pfs if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with active bleeding, a bleeding disorder, or a recent bleed into the brain.

How to store Enoxcp-60 mg Pfs Injection

Store below 25°C, protect from light, do not freeze. Keep in original pack; keep out of reach of children.

Expert advice for Enoxcp-60 mg Pfs Injection

Carry a card or note saying which blood thinner you take. Take it at the same time every day; a missed dose leaves you less protected. Use paracetamol rather than an anti-inflammatory for ordinary aches, unless your doctor says otherwise.
