Domperidone (30mg) + Esomeprazole (40mg)
Esokem D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Esomeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (ppi) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Esokem D Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Esokem-D Caps. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
