Formost 200 Respicaps contains Mometasone (200mcg) + Formoterol Fumarate (6mcg).
Formost 200 Respicap is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Formost 200 Respicap is a combination of two medicines: Formoterol and Mometasone. Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Mometasone is a steroid. It works by stopping the release of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) of the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Formost as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Formost than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Formost are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Store Formost below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
