Provides local heat therapy to help relieve muscle cramps, body aches, back pain, joint pain, menstrual cramps and stiffness; can also be used for warming the body in cold weather.
A hot water bag provides superficial heat to the applied area. Heat increases local blood flow, relaxes muscles and reduces stiffness, which helps in temporary pain relief and comfort.
Fill the bag with hot (not boiling) water up to about 2/3rd capacity, expel excess air, and close the stopper tightly. Wrap in a cloth/towel and apply to the affected area for 10–20 minutes; repeat as needed. Do not sleep with the bag on, and do not apply directly on bare skin.
Common side effects of H Shine Hot Water Bag may include:
Use caution to avoid scalds: do not use boiling water; check for leaks before use; keep away from infants/children unless supervised. Avoid applying over broken/irritated skin, numb areas, or in people with poor sensation/circulation (e.g., diabetic neuropathy) unless advised by a clinician. Discontinue if excessive redness, pain, or blistering occurs. Do not microwave, overfill, sit/lie on the bag, or use a damaged/old bag or faulty stopper.
