Treatment of Piles
Hadensa Ointment is a combination of four medicines. Lanolin is a skin moisturizer. It keeps the skin moist and makes the stool passing process easy. Lidocaine is an anesthetic agent that numbs the rectum for the painless release of feces. Menthol is also has a numbing effect along with that it provides a cooling sensation to relieve pain. Thymol is an antimicrobial. It kills infection-causing microorganisms to prevent infections. This is how Hadensa Ointment treats the symptoms of plies.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed by a physician. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin unless advised.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Hadensa Ointment, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Hadensa than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Hadensa are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Hadensa Ointment is prescribed for the treatment of piles. Do not take any other laxative along with Hadensa Ointment without consulting your doctor. Sometimes certain medicines like iron tablets, antibiotics might cause constipation. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of them. Apart from using Hadensa Ointment, you can indulge in warm baths. It may help soothe the area and thus may ease the pain. Don't ignore the feeling of needing to pass stools. Some people suppress this feeling and put off going to the toilet until later. This may result in bigger and harder stools forming that are more difficult to pass later. A fiber-rich diet (wholegrain bread and cereals, fruit and green leafy vegetables) with six to eight full glasses of water each day and daily exercise are important in maintaining healthy bowel function.
