Telmisartan (20mg)
Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), angina (chest pain), and as add-on therapy in stable chronic heart failure; may be used for heart rate control in certain tachyarrhythmias as prescribed
Metoprolol is a cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic blocker. It reduces heart rate and the force of contraction, lowering cardiac workload and blood pressure. This improves symptoms of angina and helps protect the heart over time.
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily for extended-release tablets. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Can be taken with or without food, but take at the same time each day; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Hypertel M 25MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Do not stop suddenly (risk of rebound hypertension/angina/arrhythmia). Use with caution in asthma/COPD (may worsen bronchospasm), diabetes (may mask low blood sugar symptoms), peripheral vascular disease, thyroid disorders, liver impairment, and in patients with low heart rate or heart block. Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, second/third-degree AV block, cardiogenic shock, and decompensated heart failure unless directed by a cardiologist. Monitor BP and pulse regularly.
