Treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis) and other susceptible superficial dermatophyte infections.
This is an antifungal skin cream. Terbinafine (commonly used in such products) inhibits fungal squalene epoxidase, leading to defective fungal cell membrane (ergosterol) synthesis and fungal cell death.
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the affected skin as advised by a doctor (commonly once or twice daily). Continue for the full prescribed duration even if symptoms improve; wash hands after application and avoid contact with eyes/mouth.
Common side effects of K-TERBIMAX CREAM may include:
Do not use on broken skin unless advised. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling, blistering or allergy occurs. Use with caution in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding (do not apply on breast area if nursing) and in large areas/under occlusion unless prescribed. If no improvement after the recommended course, seek medical advice.
