Ketoconazole 2% w/w + Clobetasol propionate 0.05% w/w cream

Uses of Ketovate Cream 20GM

Treatment of inflammatory fungal skin infections where marked itching/redness is present, such as tinea (ringworm), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and candidal intertrigo (as prescribed).

How it works

Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis, damaging the fungal cell membrane and stopping fungal growth. Clobetasol is a super‑potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and itching by suppressing local immune and inflammatory mediators.

Directions for use

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily as advised by the doctor; clean and dry the area before application. Use for the shortest duration prescribed; avoid occlusive dressings unless told. Wash hands after use and avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin.
