Composition of Luliclinz Cream

Luliclinz Cream contains Luliconazole 1% w/w cream. It belongs to the Imidazole antifungal class of medicines.

Uses of Luliclinz Cream

• Treatment of fungal skin infections such as tinea (ringworm) including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• jock itch (tinea cruris) and body ringworm (tinea corporis); also used for cutaneous candidiasis as advised by a doctor.

How Luliclinz Cream works

Luliconazole is an imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis by blocking fungal lanosterol 14‑α‑demethylase. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane, stopping growth and leading to clearance of infection.

How to take Luliclinz Cream

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer once daily (or as prescribed) and rub gently. Use regularly for the full course; wash hands after application; avoid eyes, mouth, vagina and broken skin unless advised.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Apply it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next application, skip the missed one — applying extra does not make up for it.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use; swallowing the preparation may cause stomach upset. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Side effects of Luliclinz Cream

Most side effects of Luliclinz are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs. Do not apply on open wounds or severely inflamed skin unless advised. Stop and consult a doctor if severe irritation/allergy occurs or if no improvement after 1–2 weeks. Use with caution in children; use in pregnancy/breastfeeding only on medical advice (avoid applying on/near nipples while breastfeeding).

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. For external use only. Not for use in the eyes.

Interactions with other medicines

No clinically significant drug interactions expected with topical use; avoid concurrent application with other topical irritants/medicines on the same area unless prescribed.

How to store Luliclinz Cream

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.

Keep the area clean and completely dry — fungus thrives in moisture and sweat. Wear loose cotton clothing, change it daily, and wash clothes and towels in hot water. Do not share towels, and treat affected family members at the same time.
