Maxgalin Nt Tablet contains Pregabalin 75 mg + Nortriptyline 10 mg (per tablet). It belongs to the Pregabalin: Gabapentinoid (antiepileptic/neuropathic analgesic); Nortriptyline: Tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) class of medicines.

How Maxgalin Nt Tablet works

Pregabalin reduces release of excitatory neurotransmitters by binding to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels, decreasing abnormal nerve signaling. Nortriptyline (a tricyclic antidepressant) increases norepinephrine and serotonin in the spinal cord, enhancing descending pain inhibition. The combination provides additive relief in neuropathic pain.

How to take Maxgalin Nt Tablet

Take orally as prescribed, usually once daily at bedtime or as directed. Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water. Do not stop suddenly—taper only on medical advice.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep in original blister pack and out of reach of children.

Expert advice for Maxgalin Nt Tablet

Take the larger part of the dose at night if drowsiness is a problem. Rise slowly from sitting or lying, especially in the first weeks. Keep your review appointment so the dose can be adjusted to the lowest that controls your pain. Give it a fair trial of several weeks, and keep your review appointments.
