Topical lotion/balm used for symptomatic relief of minor aches and pains such as muscle pain, sprain/strain, backache, joint pain and itching due to insect bites (exact indications depend on label composition).
Medicated balms/lotions typically contain counterirritants that create a cooling/warming sensation on the skin. This distracts from underlying pain/itch and may mildly reduce inflammation locally, providing temporary relief.
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently massage until absorbed; use 2–3 times daily or as directed on the label. Avoid applying on broken/irritated skin and avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes.
Common side effects of MEDOBALM LOTION 8.6GM may include:
Do not use on open wounds, infected skin or severe burns. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation/allergy occurs or if symptoms persist. Keep away from eyes and mucosa; rinse with water if contact occurs. Use with caution in children, during pregnancy/breastfeeding, and in people with sensitive skin; follow label directions. Do not cover with tight bandage or use with heat unless advised.
