How Nadibact Gel works

Nadibact Cream is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria that cause skin infections by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing.

How to take Nadibact Gel

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Apply it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next application, skip the missed one — applying extra does not make up for it.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Side effects of Nadibact Gel

Most side effects of Nadibact are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Warnings and precautions

Use it for the short course prescribed, usually about a week. Prolonged use of a topical antibiotic breeds resistant bacteria. See a doctor if the area becomes more red, swollen, painful or spreads, or if you develop a fever — a spreading skin infection needs tablets. Clean the area gently before each application. Do not use it on large raw areas or burns unless your doctor has said to.

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for use in or around the eyes.

How to store Nadibact Gel

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Close the cap tightly after each use. Keep out of the reach of children.

Inform your doctor if your skin problem hasn't improved after seven days of treatment.</li> <li>Treatment should be continued until at least two days after the condition has resolved.</li> <li>Don't apply it to broken skin and take care to avoid getting it in your eyes, nose or mouth.</li> <li>Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects. </li> <li>It may cause temporary burning, itching or a redness at application site.
