Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension

• •May reduce risk of optic nerve damage with sustained IOP control

How it works

Tafluprost is a prostaglandin F2α analog that increases uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humor from the eye. This lowers intraocular pressure, helping to protect the optic nerve in glaucoma.

Directions for use

For ophthalmic use only. Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) once daily, preferably in the evening, or as directed by an ophthalmologist. Remove contact lenses before use and reinsert after 15 minutes; avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye.

Side effects

Common side effects of Oftaquix 1.5% Eye Drops may include:

• •Eye redness (conjunctival hyperemia)
