Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that helps remove excess salt and water from the body through urine, reducing fluid volume and easing the workload on the heart. Together, they help lower and control blood pressure effectively.

How to take Olvance Ct 20 mg Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olvance-CT 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Olvance-CT 20 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

You have been prescribed Olvance-CT 20 Tablet for the treatment of high blood pressure. It can be taken with or without food. Olvance-CT 20 Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, very dry mouth or muscle weakness. It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Use of Olvance-CT 20 Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unsafe. It may also decrease the risk of stroke and heart attacks.
