Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Pegmove Powder contains Polyethylene Glycol (17gm).
Pegmove Oral Solution works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, which makes the stool soft and easier to pass.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Pegmove Oral Solution may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Pegmove as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Pegmove than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
