Pyrigesic 1000 mg Tablet contains Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 1000 mg. It belongs to the Analgesic (Para-aminophenol derivative) class of medicines.

How Pyrigesic 1000 mg Tablet works

Paracetamol reduces pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system and acting on the heat-regulating center in the brain. It has minimal anti-inflammatory effect compared to NSAIDs.

How to take Pyrigesic 1000 mg Tablet

Oral tablet. Take as advised by a doctor; usually taken with or without food with water. Do not exceed the total daily dose of paracetamol from all sources; avoid taking multiple paracetamol-containing products together.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose
