How Salbair-B Forte works
Salbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscles to open airways and reduce wheeze/breathlessness. Bromhexine is a mucolytic/expectorant that thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out and improving airway clearance.
How to take Salbair-B Forte
Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually 2–3 times daily; can be taken with or without food (take with food if stomach upset occurs). Swallow with water; do not exceed the recommended dose.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Missed dose and overdose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.
If you take too much
An overdose of this medicine can cause a racing heart, marked tremor, headache and a fall in blood potassium. It can cause vomiting, severe drowsiness, a racing heart and, with codeine, dangerously slow breathing. Beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol) may reduce effect/precipitate bronchospasm, other sympathomimetics increase side effects, MAO inhibitors/tricyclic antidepressants may increase cardiovascular effects, diuretics/corticosteroids/xanthines (theophylline) may increase risk of hypokalemia, digoxin levels may decrease with salbutamol
