Saycold-500 mg Tablet contains Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 500 mg. It belongs to the Para-aminophenol derivative (Non-opioid analgesic/antipyretic) class of medicines.

How Saycold-500 mg Tablet works

Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the brain and acting on the heat-regulating center (hypothalamus). It has minimal anti-inflammatory effect compared with NSAIDs.

How to take Saycold-500 mg Tablet

Tablet: Take as directed by a doctor. Common adult use is 1 tablet (500 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed; do not exceed 4,000 mg paracetamol/day from all sources. Can be taken with or without food; take with food if it upsets the stomach.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.
