Scabies (mite infestation) and associated itching; may also be used for lice as advised by a doctor.
Scabicides kill the scabies mite and its eggs/larvae, clearing the infestation. Relief from itching may take a few days even after the mites are eradicated.
For external use only. Apply a thin layer over clean, dry skin as directed by the doctor (often from neck to toes, including skin folds); leave on for the prescribed duration and then wash off. Treat close contacts if advised; wash clothing/bedding in hot water. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin.
Common side effects of Scabper Cream may include:
Do not use on broken/inflamed skin unless advised. Avoid eyes/mucosa; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs. Use with caution in infants, pregnant or breastfeeding women—use only on medical advice. Itching can persist for 1–2 weeks after treatment; seek medical care if symptoms worsen or persist, or if signs of secondary infection occur.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Scabper Cream. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
