How Scabper Cream works

Scabicides kill the scabies mite and its eggs/larvae, clearing the infestation. Relief from itching may take a few days even after the mites are eradicated.

How to take Scabper Cream

For external use only. Apply a thin layer over clean, dry skin as directed by the doctor (often from neck to toes, including skin folds); leave on for the prescribed duration and then wash off. Treat close contacts if advised; wash clothing/bedding in hot water. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Scabper Cream, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use; swallowing the preparation may cause stomach upset. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Scabper Cream is prescribed for the treatment of scabies( a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin). It should be used as per dose and duration suggested by your doctor. If the condition persists after 14 days of treatment then the doctor may suggest another treatment. Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower. Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
