Solzam 5mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (gaba) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

How to take Solzam 10 mg Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Solzam 10mg Tablet MD may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Solzam 10mg Tablet MD, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause deep unconsciousness and dangerously slow breathing, particularly with alcohol or an opioid. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
