Used as a sterile diluent/solvent to reconstitute or dilute medicines for parenteral administration (IM/IV) as directed; used for flushing/irrigation only when specifically labeled and instructed.
Sterile Water for Injection is purified, sterile, nonpyrogenic water used as a vehicle for injectable medicines. It has no pharmacological action by itself; it enables safe reconstitution/dilution for injection when mixed with compatible drugs.
Use only for reconstitution/dilution of injectable medicines as per the drug’s label and healthcare professional instructions. Inspect for clarity and container integrity before use; do not use if cloudy/particles/leaking. Not for direct IV injection unless the final solution is made isotonic with an appropriate solute/drug as directed; use aseptic technique and discard any unused portion if single-use.

Single-dose containers should not be stored after opening; discard unused portion.
