Suhagra 25 Tablet contains Sildenafil citrate IP equivalent to Sildenafil 25 mg. It belongs to the Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor class of medicines.

How Suhagra 25 Tablet works

Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It increases cGMP levels in the penis, enhancing blood flow during sexual stimulation and helping achieve and maintain an erection. It does not work without sexual arousal.

How to take Suhagra 25 Tablet

Oral tablet. Take as advised by a doctor, usually 30–60 minutes before sexual activity (may take up to 4 hours before). Swallow with water; can be taken with or without food, but a heavy/fatty meal may delay effect. Do not take more than once in 24 hours.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine may be harmful — seek medical advice immediately. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Side effects of Suhagra 25 Tablet

Most side effects of Suhagra are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• indigestion
• nasal congestion
• nausea
• blurred vision
• altered color vision
• back pain

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Schedule H: use only on prescription. Do not use with nitrates (nitroglycerin/isosorbide) due to dangerous fall in blood pressure. Use caution with heart disease, recent heart attack/stroke, uncontrolled hypertension or hypotension, severe liver/kidney disease, retinitis pigmentosa, bleeding disorders, active peptic ulcer. Seek urgent care for chest pain, sudden vision/hearing loss, or erection lasting >4 hours (priapism). Not for women or children.

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Your doctor will confirm this medicine is suitable for you.

Interactions with other medicines

Nitrates (contraindicated), riociguat (contraindicated), alpha-blockers (e.g., tamsulosin—risk of hypotension), strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, clarithromycin—may increase levels), CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampicin—may reduce effect), other PDE5 inhibitors or ED therapies, antihypertensives (additive BP lowering), grapefruit juice (may increase levels)

How to store Suhagra 25 Tablet

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from moisture and light. Keep in original pack and out of reach of children.
