Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Tapease Ns 225 contains Fluticasone propionate nasal spray 50 mcg per actuation (approx. 120 metered sprays per 9 mL bottle). It belongs to the Corticosteroid (glucocorticoid) class of medicines.
Fluticasone is an intranasal corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the nasal lining. It blocks release of inflammatory mediators and decreases swelling, mucus production and allergic symptoms.
For intranasal use only. Shake well, prime the pump before first use and if not used for several days. Typical adult dose: 1–2 sprays in each nostril once daily (or as prescribed); children doses are lower as per doctor. Use regularly for best effect; avoid spraying into the eyes; gently blow nose before use.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Tapease Ns as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Tapease Ns than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Tapease Ns are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

| Habit forming | No |
Do not use if allergic to fluticasone. Use with caution in patients with recent nasal surgery/trauma or nasal ulcers, untreated local infections, tuberculosis, glaucoma/cataract history. Prolonged/high-dose use may rarely cause systemic corticosteroid effects (adrenal suppression, growth retardation in children). If recurrent nosebleeds, persistent nasal pain, visual changes, or signs of infection occur, consult a doctor. Avoid close contact with chickenpox/measles if immunosuppressed.
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase systemic exposure (e.g., ritonavir, cobicistat, ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin). Use caution with other corticosteroids.
Store below 25°C, protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep bottle upright with cap on and out of reach of children.
