How Temoside 20 Capsule works

Temozolomide is an oral alkylating agent that converts to an active metabolite (MTIC) in the body. It damages tumor DNA (methylation), leading to inhibition of DNA replication and cancer cell death.

How to take Temoside 20 Capsule

Take exactly as prescribed by the oncologist. Swallow capsule whole with water on an empty stomach (e.g., 1 hour before or 2 hours after food), preferably at the same time each day; do not open/crush/chew. If vomiting occurs after a dose, do not take an extra dose—take the next scheduled dose. Follow prescribed antiemetic and cycle schedule.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Temoside 20 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Temoside than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
