How Tilmox Cv Dry Syrup works

Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta‑lactamase enzymes produced by some bacteria, helping prevent amoxicillin breakdown and broadening antibacterial coverage.

How to take Tilmox Cv Dry Syrup

Dry syrup: Reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark, shake well. Give the prescribed dose using a measuring cup/syringe, preferably at the start of a meal. Shake well before each dose and complete the full course as advised by the doctor.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Warnings and precautions

How to store Tilmox Cv Dry Syrup

Store dry powder below 25°C, protected from moisture. After reconstitution, store in a refrigerator (2–8°C), do not freeze, keep tightly closed, and use within 7 days (or as per label).

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Your child may have a bitter taste in the mouth after the intake of Tilmox-CV Dry Syrup. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Never give Tilmox-CV Dry Syrup until and unless prescribed by the doctor. You must also never share your child’s medicine with anyone else even if they show similar symptoms. Do not give Tilmox-CV Dry Syrup to treat common cold and flu-like symptoms caused by viruses. Never save medicine for future illnesses. It cannot be said whether the same medicine will work on future infections. Check ‘expiry’ before giving Tilmox-CV Dry Syrup to your child. Immediately discard all the expired medicines. Stop Tilmox-CV Dry Syrup immediately if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty. Report to the doctor without any delay.
