How Toff Ar Tablet works
Toff-AR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: bilastine and montelukast. Bilastine is an antiallergic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body. Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to relieve symptoms of allergies.
How to take Toff Ar Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Toff-AR Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Missed dose and overdose
If you miss a dose
If you miss a dose of Toff-AR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
If you take too much
Taking more Toff Ar than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Stop taking Toff-AR Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test, as it can affect the test results. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better. Taking more than the prescribed amount of Toff-AR Tablet will not improve effectiveness but may increase side effects. Toff-AR Tablet should be taken before a meal, as food can reduce its absorption.
