How Tolperitas-P Tablet works

Tolperitas-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tolperisone and Paracetamol, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

How to take Tolperitas-P Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tolperitas-P Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

An overdose of this medicine can cause deep drowsiness, muscle weakness, a fall in blood pressure and slowed breathing. It can cause severe and sometimes fatal liver damage, often with no symptoms at all for the first day. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
