A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Volini Maxx Spray 55 g. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Volini Maxx Spray 55 g contains Diclofenac Diethylamine 1.16% w/w (equivalent to Diclofenac 1% w/w), Methyl Salicylate 10% w/w, Menthol 5% w/w, Linseed Oil 3% w/w. It belongs to the Topical NSAID + counterirritant combination class of medicines.
Diclofenac is an NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting COX enzymes and lowering prostaglandin production. Methyl salicylate and menthol provide counter‑irritant cooling/warming sensation that distracts from pain. Linseed oil may support soothing effect on sore muscles and joints.
For external use only. Shake well and spray on the affected area from a short distance; gently spread if needed. Use 3-4 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Avoid applying on broken/irritated skin; wash hands after use and avoid contact with eyes/mouth.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Volini Maxx as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Volini Maxx than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Volini Maxx are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
