Vobit M 0.2 Tablet SR is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

How Vozuca M 0.2 Tablet works

Vobit M 0.2 Tablet SR is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and voglibose. Metformin lowers the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Voglibose inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

How to take Vozuca M 0.2 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vobit M 0.2 Tablet SR is to be taken with food.<br>Vobit M 0.2 Tablet SR may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Vozuca M as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Vozuca M than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
