Relief of dry cough and associated throat irritation (cough suppressant syrup).

How it works

Cough suppressant syrups typically reduce the cough reflex by acting on the cough centre in the brain and/or soothing the throat. This helps decrease the frequency and intensity of dry, non-productive cough.

Directions for use

Shake well before use. Measure with the provided cup/spoon. Take the prescribed dose by mouth, usually 2–3 times daily; can be taken with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended dose; follow doctor’s advice especially for children.

Warnings & precautions

May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery. Do not use for persistent cough due to smoking, asthma, or emphysema unless advised by a doctor. Seek medical advice if cough lasts >7 days, returns, or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache.
