Warnings and precautions

Prescription-only antibiotic; use only for suspected/confirmed bacterial infections. Inform doctor if allergic to cephalosporins/penicillins or had severe rash/anaphylaxis. Use with caution in kidney disease (dose adjustment may be needed) and history of colitis/antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Seek care for severe diarrhoea, blood in stools, severe rash, breathing difficulty, or jaundice. May affect some lab tests (e.g., urine glucose tests).

Warfarin/other anticoagulants (increased bleeding risk/INR), probenecid (may increase antibiotic levels), live oral typhoid vaccine (reduced vaccine effect), other nephrotoxic drugs such as aminoglycosides or high-dose diuretics (increased kidney risk)

How to store Zifi Cv 200

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep in original blister pack and out of reach of children.

You have been prescribed this combination medicine to treat bacterial infections even if they have developed resistance. Finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with Zifi CV 200 Tablet may help. Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps. Stop taking Zifi CV 200 Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
