Glimepiride 0.5 mg

Uses of Zoryl 0.5MG Tab

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (adult) to help control blood sugar, usually along with diet and exercise; may be used alone or with other antidiabetic medicines.

How it works

Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that stimulates the pancreas to release insulin. It also improves peripheral insulin sensitivity, thereby lowering blood glucose levels.

Directions for use

Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily with breakfast or the first main meal. Swallow with water; do not skip meals after taking it. Dose is individualized based on blood glucose and HbA1c; monitor sugars regularly.
